Cooling Toner

You will need:

¾ of a cup of filtered water

¼ of a cup of organic apple cider vinegar

50 drops of peppermint essential oil

Directions:

The first thing that you will want to do is run your apple cider vinegar through a filter. You can use a coffee filter over a small cup for this. All that you are going to be doing is getting out the natural bacteria in the ACV which is known as the mother. You will be able to see it floating in the ACV and while this is great for other reasons, you want to filter it out when making your toner so that it does not clog up your sprayer.

Next, you will add the ACV into your glass spray bottle along with the water. Add the peppermint essential oil into the bottle. You will probably want to start off with less than 50 because this can be quite strong. Instead, start with 20 and see if you like it. If you want to add more you can add up to 50. The peppermint is what is going to give the toner the cooling effect, so feel free to add as much as you need.

You will want to lightly mist the toner on your face after you have washed it in the morning and in the evening. If you do not have a glass spray bottle, you can use a small container and apply it to your face with a cotton ball.

This should be stored in the refrigerator.
